Certified flight instructor was reassuring, knowledgeable and welcoming, very friendly environment. Quick tour of the facility and aircraft before the discovery flight started. Observed, our son’s flight takeoff from the airport terminal observation deck with a good view of the airstrip. Will be considering additional instruction through this school. Would highly recommend anybody for a discovery flight and pilot license instruction with Vegas Aviation.

That was such an important piece was trusting the plane and he immediately instilled that trust. Getting my pilots license has something that has been on my mind for years, I was inspired by movies, video games, and etc. I just turned 40 years old... read more and I wanted to try something exciting for my 40th birthday, the discovery flight with Vegas Aviation did not disappoint me. Before the flight I was nervous, anxious, scared, intimidated and I felt some other emotions that I will not explain here; but I was going to have this experience anyway. My flight instructor was Flore’ and she was amazing, it’s been a month since my flight and I can not stop thinking about her and how cool she was. Flore’ explained everything to me and answer all of my questions, I felt really comfortable with her and that was probably due to her confidence. I would encourage everyone to do a discovery flight with Vegas Aviation, it was the best bday gift I have ever given myself. This experience changed my life so much that I am now in pursuit of a career in aviation. They get my recommendation, two thumbs up, 5 stars, 10stars, and they get two snaps and around the world 😉.

Having their... read more in house maintenance is a huge plus, because planes are not normally out of service for a long time. I have the privilege to be instructed by Haylee. It doesn’t take much time around her to notice how truly professional and passionate about everything aviation she is. Her passion along with her commitment to her students gives you the tools you need to to learn how to fly. I met her while I was trying to convert my license from another country to FAA, she took the time to research the best and most efficient way to go about that for me. Her thorough and up-to-date mastery of tools used in today’s aviation are second to none. I had my ppl license at a very small remote airport (mostly class G airspace) where most of my radio experience is announcing my position and intentions to other pilots that I already know personally. Haylee worked extensively with me on my radio skills and gaining the mic confidence to be flying in the very busy Vegas air space. It is still a work in progress, but I wouldn’t have done it without her guidance. I also really like how she asks “and what do you think the answer is?” Every time I ask a question before giving me her own answer. That question allows her to gauge her students’ knowledge and also to instil the “think before you ask or act” skill that all pilots need. There is no doubt that I am a better pilot today because of the skills that Haylee taught me and I now have a solid base to expand upon. Another benefit is that I now have a fellow pilot and trusted friend to make this journey down the road of aviation a lot more enjoyable. Richard is incredibly proficient and thorough and spent his due diligence getting me recurrent for IFR flight in a timely manner. I then completed their accelerated multi-engine course and passed my check ride on the first attempt. Richard prepped me for every possible contingency for the check ride and I had no surprises on the day of the check. Overall Vegas Aviation is a professional, clean, and modern flight school and maintenance shop that values safety, family, and having fun while learning to fly. I’ve researched a lot of the Aviation schools in Las Vegas and finally decided to give Vegas Aviation a try. They have a really nice fleet of C172’s, excellent rates, and very personable and knowledgeable CFIs. Many would say the same about their school of choice, however last night Vegas Aviation went above and beyond to help me and a friend out and now will forever have my support and business. Backstory: Aviation is tough! And sometimes we get stuck doing the same things over and over again. To break the cycle, I’ve been taking flight lessons at all the different places I visit. One of those places was SF. I met a really amazing CFI there and have become great friends! She was finally visiting me in my hometown, and I wanted to reciprocate her kindness and generosity by checking off a bucket list item (Night flight over Las Vegas). We scheduled a flight in advance, however due to some scheduling conflicts it looked like we weren’t going to get to go anymore 😞… I asked my old Vegas Aviation CFI, Ngaio if he knew anybody that could take us up last minute. He worked on a solution for us all night and the very next day .…. BOOM! A few hours later we were flying above the Vegas strip with the owner of Vegas Aviation! As a business owner myself, I have SO MUCH respect for Business owners who are willing to go above and beyond.The fact that Ngaio has this relationship with the owner, Louis speaks volumes! Louis was very personable and you could tell that he LOVES aviation! He was happy to be there and he took us on an amazing flight and shared extensive knowledge. Honestly, i feel like I’ve made a life long friend! Louis and Ngaio, THANK YOU so much for making this an unforgettable experience. Vegas Aviation will be my GO TO school and top recommendation for all my certificates and airplane maintenance needs! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
