The instructors genuinely care about you succeeding and moving forward, not just the hours they are building. I’ve had the genuine pleasure of working with a few of the flight instructors and I look forward to working with more in the future. The staff managing VA (talking about you Jennie) are the most approachable and accommodating people you will meet. I literally called her at 4 AM once when I didn’t realize I was in a different time zone and she answered the call and helped me out. The maintenance team is world class. They manage to keep five planes in the air practically 24/7 in addition to the other work they have on their plates, but will still drop what they’re doing to answer any questions you have or explain a system in the plane. To make a long story longer, I can’t imagine a better place to learn to fly and I know that I’ll be making regular visits to VA long after I’ve earned my wings and am flying professionally. I’d also like to thank the instructors I’ve worked with: Andrew, Derek, and Jack for helping me along my road as a pilot and pushing me forward while also being good friends. Just attended an Autopilot Workshop hosted by Amber and learned a ton!

I went to Vegas Aviation looking to finish my Multi-Engine add on and become recurrent in instrument flight after about 5 years away from general aviation. I was paired with... read more CFII/MEI Richard and was very impressed from day one. Richard is incredibly proficient and thorough and spent his due diligence getting me recurrent for IFR flight in a timely manner. I then completed their accelerated multi-engine course and passed my check ride on the first attempt. Richard prepped me for every possible contingency for the check ride and I had no surprises on the day of the check. Overall Vegas Aviation is a professional, clean, and modern flight school and maintenance shop that values safety, family, and having fun while learning to fly. Their whole team is very welcoming and credible. I highly recommend.

For a flight school to let you pay for your hours as you go is rare. The flexibility is definitely one of the biggest things to praise here. As for the instructors , they really do have some great CFI’s to help you along if your serious about getting your license. I got to fly with Andrew in the beginning and he’s definitely knowledgeable and has real world experience flying for hire. He has a great approach and will condense material for you to where it’s easy to understand because learning something new can always be overwhelming. Overall would recommend you give them a try , if anything it will be a fun flight.

Certified flight instructor was reassuring, knowledgeable and welcoming, very friendly environment. Quick tour of the facility and aircraft before the discovery flight started. Observed, our son’s flight takeoff from the airport terminal observation deck with a good view of the airstrip. Will be considering additional instruction through this school. Would highly recommend anybody for a discovery flight and pilot license instruction with Vegas Aviation.

Great flight school if you are looking to rent a plane to fly around in the area or go to the Grand Canyon. I already came with a US PPL,... read more and as always had to do a flight beforehand in order to be able to rent the aircraft afterwards. Due to strong winds, my flight with the instructor had to be cancelled, but was rescheduled without any problems for the next day where the winds were better. After the flight with the professional instructor Flore, I went up to Page via the Grand Canyon to experience the once in lifetime view. I will definitely come back again to go flying in the area.
