Adrian in particular has been spectacular as a CFI. As someone coming in with very little experience, his method of instruction following a “show me, guide me, let me” approach has been phenomenal in building the skills necessary to one day have a career in the industry.

I’ve researched a lot of the Aviation schools in Las Vegas and finally decided to give Vegas Aviation a try. They have a really nice fleet of C172’s, excellent rates, and very personable and knowledgeable CFIs. Many would say the same about their school of choice, however last night Vegas Aviation went above and beyond to help me and a friend out and now will forever have my support and business. Backstory: Aviation is tough! And sometimes we get stuck doing the same things over and over again. To break the cycle, I’ve been taking flight lessons at all the different places I visit. One of those places was SF. I met a really amazing CFI there and have become great friends! She was finally visiting me in my hometown, and I wanted to reciprocate her kindness and generosity by checking off a bucket list item (Night flight over Las Vegas). We scheduled a flight in advance, however due to some scheduling conflicts it looked like we weren’t going to get to go anymore 😞… I asked my old Vegas Aviation CFI, Ngaio if he knew anybody that could take us up last minute. He worked on a solution for us all night and the very next day .…. BOOM! A few hours later we were flying above the Vegas strip with the owner of Vegas Aviation! As a business owner myself, I have SO MUCH respect for Business owners who are willing to go above and beyond.The fact that Ngaio has this relationship with the owner, Louis speaks volumes! Louis was very personable and you could tell that he LOVES aviation! He was happy to be there and he took us on an amazing flight and shared extensive knowledge. Honestly, i feel like I’ve made a life long friend! Louis and Ngaio, THANK YOU so much for making this an unforgettable experience. Vegas Aviation will be my GO TO school and top recommendation for all my certificates and airplane maintenance needs! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

For a flight school to let you pay for your hours as you go is rare. The flexibility is definitely one of the biggest things to praise here. As for the instructors , they really do have some great CFI’s to help you along if your serious about getting your license. I got to fly with Andrew in the beginning and he’s definitely knowledgeable and has real world experience flying for hire. He has a great approach and will condense material for you to where it’s easy to understand because learning something new can always be overwhelming. Overall would recommend you give them a try , if anything it will be a fun flight.

I already came with a US PPL,... read more and as always had to do a flight beforehand in order to be able to rent the aircraft afterwards. Due to strong winds, my flight with the instructor had to be cancelled, but was rescheduled without any problems for the next day where the winds were better. After the flight with the professional instructor Flore, I went up to Page via the Grand Canyon to experience the once in lifetime view. I will definitely come back again to go flying in the area. Getting my pilots license has something that has been on my mind for years, I was inspired by movies, video games, and etc. I just turned 40 years old... read more and I wanted to try something exciting for my 40th birthday, the discovery flight with Vegas Aviation did not disappoint me. Before the flight I was nervous, anxious, scared, intimidated and I felt some other emotions that I will not explain here; but I was going to have this experience anyway. My flight instructor was Flore’ and she was amazing, it’s been a month since my flight and I can not stop thinking about her and how cool she was. Flore’ explained everything to me and answer all of my questions, I felt really comfortable with her and that was probably due to her confidence. I would encourage everyone to do a discovery flight with Vegas Aviation, it was the best bday gift I have ever given myself. This experience changed my life so much that I am now in pursuit of a career in aviation. They get my recommendation, two thumbs up, 5 stars, 10stars, and they get two snaps and around the world 😉.

He was a great pilot and very knowledgeable about the school and aviation in general. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and helped me plot out my next couple steps as a student pilot. It was a relatively windy day today and I never felt that he was not in control of situation. The facility was clean. The aircraft was in good condition , ran well and had digital instruments. Overall it was a great experience I would recommend to anyone.

I started off my flight training at a different location. There was nothing wrong with it, but it just felt like more school. I found my way to Vegas Aviation,... read more and that’s when things changed. There isn’t a better group of people around than the ones you will find at VA. The instructors genuinely care about you succeeding and moving forward, not just the hours they are building. I’ve had the genuine pleasure of working with a few of the flight instructors and I look forward to working with more in the future. The staff managing VA (talking about you Jennie) are the most approachable and accommodating people you will meet. I literally called her at 4 AM once when I didn’t realize I was in a different time zone and she answered the call and helped me out. The maintenance team is world class. They manage to keep five planes in the air practically 24/7 in addition to the other work they have on their plates, but will still drop what they’re doing to answer any questions you have or explain a system in the plane. To make a long story longer, I can’t imagine a better place to learn to fly and I know that I’ll be making regular visits to VA long after I’ve earned my wings and am flying professionally. I’d also like to thank the instructors I’ve worked with: Andrew, Derek, and Jack for helping me along my road as a pilot and pushing me forward while also being good friends.
