It doesn’t take much time around her to notice how truly professional and passionate about everything aviation she is. Her passion along with her commitment to her students gives you the tools you need to to learn how to fly. I met her while I was trying to convert my license from another country to FAA, she took the time to research the best and most efficient way to go about that for me. Her thorough and up-to-date mastery of tools used in today’s aviation are second to none. I had my ppl license at a very small remote airport (mostly class G airspace) where most of my radio experience is announcing my position and intentions to other pilots that I already know personally. Haylee worked extensively with me on my radio skills and gaining the mic confidence to be flying in the very busy Vegas air space. It is still a work in progress, but I wouldn’t have done it without her guidance. I also really like how she asks “and what do you think the answer is?” Every time I ask a question before giving me her own answer. That question allows her to gauge her students’ knowledge and also to instil the “think before you ask or act” skill that all pilots need. There is no doubt that I am a better pilot today because of the skills that Haylee taught me and I now have a solid base to expand upon. Another benefit is that I now have a fellow pilot and trusted friend to make this journey down the road of aviation a lot more enjoyable. Observed, our son’s flight takeoff from the airport terminal observation deck with a good view of the airstrip. Will be considering additional instruction through this school.
