Very disappointed in their policy and lack of support to keep children encouraged in their journey to become pilots. I worked at Nellis AFB and My children were turned away from this flight school because we are not residents of Nevada; again the intent was to sign up for Discovery Flights. A policy that doesn't allow children the oppurtunity to fly in new environments (regardless of primary residence) defeats the purpose of a discovery flight! Little does Kevin know, these cadets could be stationed right at Nellis AFB! Update: (since I cant reply to the owner) Your website: WHAT IS A DISCOVERY FLIGHT? A Discovery Flight is an aviation experience where YOU actually get to take the controls and fly the airplane under the safety and guidance of our expert Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), followed by a post-flight summary briefing. Your flight time actually counts toward private pilot requirements and can be entered in your Pilot Log Book! I reached out to schedule and the email response was unprofessional and presumptive "we do not provide sightseeing flights". The "policy" mentioned in the owners response is not what is written on your website. Feedback: include on your website that you only make time for discovery flight for people who will also sign a contract to attend your flight school. That would be a more accurate description of your policy. Or, your representatives can ASK the customer what their intent is instead of assuming.

With CFI's like him you get the knowledge you need and are never stressed but taught in an amazing professional manner. All the CFI have different ways of teaching all are effective and get you down the right path. When you come to Vegas Aviation you will find it to be an easy going yet professional and steam lined learning environment where no time is wasted. Adrian in particular has been spectacular as a CFI. I appreciate that the school has a good amount of planes which makes it easier on scheduling flexibility. As a person who travels for work and takes lessons whenever I can fit it in my busy week, they always work with my schedule which is great. I never really had any issues in booking a lesson at a desired time that worked for me. Additionally, the instructors here at Vegas Aviation are professional and want their students to succeed with safety as a priority. The quality of instruction, rental costs, fleet reliability, and professionalism really make this school the best. Due to strong winds, my flight with the instructor had to be cancelled, but was rescheduled without any problems for the next day where the winds were better. After the flight with the professional instructor Flore, I went up to Page via the Grand Canyon to experience the once in lifetime view. I will definitely come back again to go flying in the area.
